Colin is a Personal Office® Advisor with NorthRock Partners, bringing over four decades of experience helping clients navigate the complexities of wealth management and planning. He partners with business owners, executives, and high-net-worth families to develop personalized strategies that align financial decisions with life goals and values.
Colin takes a holistic approach to financial advice, working with clients on retirement income strategies, tax planning, estate planning solutions, executive compensation and benefits, investments, and insurance. A central focus of his career has also been charitable giving and legacy planning, reflecting his commitment to helping clients make an impact both within their families and in the broader community.
Colin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business Management from Northwood University. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor (APMA®), and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®).

Personal Life
When not advising clients, Colin enjoys spending time with his wife Karen, friends and family, and their beloved cats. He loves to travel with frequent visits to Napa wine country and rooting on the Detroit Lions during football season. Colin is also passionately committed to devoting his time and resources to the Placer SPCA serving as past president and most notably helping to raise millions of dollars for their state-of-the-art Adoption and Education Center.
